Clarence Jazz Festival: Day 7 (Rosny Farm)

Rosny Farm Arts Centre

4-10pm, 24 February 2018

Tickets free

Due to the weather forecast, the Big Weekend has moved to a giant marquee in the grounds of Rosny Farm.

In for a penny? In for a pound of jazz varieties hooting out from the Rosny Farm Stage. The best of local food options, children’s activities and delicious beverages abound as our Clarence Jazz musicians beat, toot and holler up a storm.

  • 4pm: Spike Mason 4tet – Groove driven and soulful jazz led by this dynamic husband and wife duo.
  • 5:35pm: Baba Bruja – 12 piece Afrobeat Orchestra with hard hitting horns and rhythms to eternity.
  • 6:55pm: Moonlight Aviators – bewitching femme fatales and dashing dandies carve divots in the dance floor.
  • 7:10pm: Yesterday’s Gentlemen – brown-suit-crumpled-hat-and-stained-tie quartet summoning soulful roadhouse blues.
  • 8:30pm: Moonlight Aviators – please sir, may I have some more?
  • 8:45pm: Matthew Ives and his Big Band – Big and brassy, channeling the sounds of the greats like Buddy Rich, Cole Porter and Duke Ellington.

The Rosny Farm is a licensed area. No BYO.
