    The South Arm Community Market is the friendliest little market in Tasmania. It is held on the first Sunday of each month from 9.30am until 12.30pm at the South Arm Community Centre, 9 Calverton Place, South Arm. In winter and wet weather the market is also held indoors at Calverton Hall.

    Each month the market has a different theme and focus. New stalls and car boots are welcome and new inquiries can be made.

  • Richmond Village Market

    Located in the beautiful and historic village of Richmond in Tasmania, just 25 minutes’ drive from Hobart.

    Visit our village and enjoy local history, view historic buildings, eat or buy delicious foods and see amazing local craft, created by talented Tasmanians. The market is held every Saturday 9am – 3pm in the village Town Hall and surrounding areas. Hold a stall yourself, or come and see what we have to offer. The Market has been developed to give local producers in the Coal River Valley and surrounding areas a place to sell their produce and artisan items. It is also intended to provide a source of fresh foods and other items to locals and tourists, thus promoting our region and encouraging people to visit the Richmond and Coal River Valley region.

    All profits from the market will be 100% re-invested into the community and promoting our region.

    The market is managed by volunteers of the Richmond and Coal River Valley Promotions Group.

  • Riverside Recycled – a Student Sculpture Trail

    02 - 28 Nov 2019 | 2pm Opening, Continues during daylight hours.

    Riverside Recycled is a student sculpture trail along Limekiln Point in Lindisfarne that is inspired by the riverside and made from up-cycled and re-purposed materials. Student groups from Eastern Shore primary schools will create sculptures for the trail in workshops with local artistic group ReCreate (Deb Vogel and Helen Creese). The sculptures will reflect the children’s local environment and bring awareness to ocean pollution and Climate Change. In the workshops children will be encouraged to think of creative solutions for environmental issues.
