Expressions of Interest are now open to all Tasmanian musicians for the 2019 Summer Series at Rosny Farm. Artists are expertly curated and programmed to perform alongside national and international touring artists in The Barn and on The Farm. The Summer Series kicks off mid-January through to late-February filling in the festival gaps between Falls Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival, Mofo and Clarence Jazz Festival.

The festival takes place on Hobart’s eastern shore from the 17th to the 24th of February.

The Poochibald Art Prize is an opportunity for artists to submit a painting, drawing or print of either their own dog, a dog they know or perhaps even a famous dog for exhibition in the Schoolhouse Gallery for Dog’s Day Out on Sunday 7th October 2018, 11am – 3pm. The exhibition runs from 28th Sept – 14th October 11am – 5pm Wed – Sun.
Featuring both an adult and two junior sections, there will be great prizes. Free entry!

Tasmania’s longest running Textile & Fibre exhibition is in its 23rd year. This exhibition is open to all artists working in both contemporary and traditional textile media, with this year’s theme ‘made by hand’.

The Clarence Open Art Exhibition is a biennial event held in both the Schoolhouse Gallery and Rosny Barn at Rosny Farm. Open to all Tasmanian artists, Clarence City Council actively promotes the participation of people in the arts and the Open Art Exhibition provides a valuable opportunity for artists to show their work to the public.
Entries are now closed for 2018, with the exhibition on display until the 26th August.
