Internalised: Philip Mylecahrane
This is a series of interior landscapes that proposes a different form of landscape; one that avoids mythologising nature, wildness and appeals to Utopian ideals around our relationship with nature. Rather it is using the interior as a reflection on the artifice and temporality of the buildings and structures that we inhabit. Much like the experience of our day to day existence, it embodies structures and forms that are contingent and shifting; a facade that arguably reflects and internalises our own thoughts, feelings and desires.
