A truly global musician of modern India, Debashish formed a new approach to the slide guitar rendition of Raga music. By Indianising the foreign instrument, Debashish developed an entirely new technique of tuning and playing raga music on the Hindustani slide guitar. He has won the BBC Planet Award for World Music and was nominated for a Grammy.

The Chordwainers are a wind and percussion ensemble that play leather sculptural instruments created by renowned Tasmanian artist Garry Greenwood.

This concert is presented as part of MOFO Eastern Sho, the MONA FOMA Festival.
