South Arm has a history which may surprise you…

Behind the beach shacks and million dollar views, the ghosts of another South Arm linger, from a time when the Peninsula provided opportunities for ex-convicts to re-establish themselves as respectable farming folk (or at least try to). Come hear these stories as we stroll the South Arm Convict Trail.

Start point is South Arm Community Centre

Walking difficulty: Easy

Shoes: Please wear sturdy walking shoes, sun protection and wear appropriate outdoor attire.

Perhaps bring your water bottle and a snack to have on one of the stops along the way.
