City of Clarence Open Art Exhibition

The Clarence Open Art Exhibition is a biennial event held in both the Schoolhouse Gallery and Rosny Barn at Rosny Farm. Open to all Tasmanian artists, Clarence City Council actively promotes the participation of people in the arts and the Open Art Exhibition provides a valuable opportunity for artists to show their work to the public.

Clarence City Council invites local artists to exhibit paintings, photography, drawing and print works in this ever popular exhibition with prizes to the value of $3300.

Winner Printmaking – Elizabeth Archer, “At Rest”, Drypoint

Winner Photography/digital imaging – David Walker, “Early morning – to work”, Archival Inkjet print

Mayor’s selection – David Jones, “Clouds over the Handsome Sugarloaf”, Oil

Hanger’s prize – Alison Dower, “Kitchenware”, Mixed media

The exhibition is on display until the 26th August 2018.
