A guided walk through the geology of Rosny and Rock Pick-Nic

Led by Ralph Bottrill, President of the Mineralogical Society of Tasmania, Senior Geologist, Mineralogist and Petrologist
 at Mineral Resources Tasmania.

Meet at the Barn at Rosny Farm at 10:15am for an amble through geologic time for a short walk in the Rosny environs.

Limited places (15)

Bring: drinking water, hat, sunscreen and sturdy shoes.

Followed by Rock-Pick-nic at 12noon on the lawns of the Rosny Farm.

Join our community picnic and BBQ. Bring your rocks, minerals and gemstones for identification by Tasmanian geologist, mineralogist, petrologist and mineral collector, Ralph Bottrill and share some lunch on the lawns of Rosny Barn.

All welcome. BBQ lunch provided.
