Calling all parents, caregivers, grandparents, uncles, aunties and family friends to bring the young people in your lives along to share stories and learn new skills in cooking cuisines from around the world. This workshop is appropriate for people 10 years and older. People under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
In this workshop you’ll learn to make one of Nepal’s most beloved and distinctive dishes: delicious steamed momos + tomato achaar (dipping sauce)! You’ll learn how to make the momo pastry and vegetarian filling from scratch, plus learn all about the spices and ingredients that make momos so yummy. As an added bonus you’ll learn how to whip up a delicious side of Nepalese style spicy potatoes!
Your momo master, Sujata, runs the very popular Moonah based Nepali restaurant Rock Sea House and shares her love of Nepali food with the wider community at functions and events across town.
This workshop culminates in a shared meal from 6.30pm-7pm.
