Sidling into Bellerive Beach Park, Clarence Jazz Festival begins with a satin layer of sound at this balmy evening concert with:

• 6pm The Seratones – chorusing Hammond organ with chicken picking, wide body jazz guitar.
• 7pm Bootleg Gin Sluggers – prohibition blues lead by a banjo strumming publican and a femme fatale on double bass.
